Kids Portraits

I am not ashamed to say I'm a blogging slacker. BUT you've gotta give me some credit. I was doing well catching up until we had an influx of visitors and took a trip in March before David broke his leg at the beginning of April. Since then life has been completely upside down, but thankfully the kids were well enough while Nanny & Papa were her to get their portraits taken. I couldn't have done it by myself, so I was glad they were here to help and our resident photographer, Key at Picture People, did a stellar job as always. These were Tim's 9 month portraits and Grace's 2.5 year portraits.  I'll try to get caught up on the blog, but I may just post a picture reel from the last 6 months and call it a day!

6 Months Old

Our sweet boy is now almost 7 months old!  I can't believe it, time never goes faster than when you have a new baby.  These pictures were taken on his 6 month half birthday.  He is such a happy boy, I am so in love!!

He laughs with his entire face, I could eat him up!
And because we can't have a post without my sweet girl, here's a few pictures of her from the same day.
She loves to get in the laundry baskets.

LOVE this face!

Grace Turns 2!

The weekend Grace's party was supposed to happen none of the guests could come because of the stomach bug that our sweet girl ended up with the night before. Thankfully we had already canceled the party and at the last minute were able to get a few friends together the following Saturday for a celebration of our precious Grace.

We headed up to the park she loves so much and rented a pavilion where we had pizza, fruit, snacks and of course, cake. The theme this year was Mickey as when her Mimi was here while Tim was being born she was introduced to Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse and she LOVES Mickey. We had a great time despite it being one of the colder days and Grace had a blast! Here are a few pictures from her 2nd birthday!

So excited about her cupcake!

While we were at Lake Lanier we had a second party for her on her actual birthday (which this year was Thanksgiving).  We always said we'd make a big deal out of birthdays having parties on holidays if necessary.  She felt very loved and celebrated and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cake.

Bilbo Vacation

Every year David's folks rent a house for the entire family to get together on vacation.  Since David has such limited time off, we usually only get to go for a few days.  This year we got together over Thanksgiving which worked out great as we were able to go for the entire week.  We visited Lake Lanier in North Georgia.  Beautiful big home, lots of shopping close by (which was necessary since we were there over black Friday!) and the lake in the back yard.  I wasn't as diligent at getting pictures as I normally am, but with a baby who eats every 2 hours, it's to be expected. Here are a few pictures from our trip.
