Our 1st Zoo Adventure
I still owe lots of catch-up posts, but I had to share these photos from last weekend.
Mama & Papa gave Gracie a membership to the zoo for her birthday/Christmas gift this year. We went for the first time on Nov 6, and we had a blast! It was a cool sunny day, perfect for an outdoor family adventure. Seeing Grace experience animals like that up close and personal was so much fun and Tim enjoyed the great outdoors, sleeping the entire time. Grace absolutely adores monkeys and elephants and I think she could have watched at the elephants all day. We explored about 1/3 of the zoo which was just about perfect for her and leaves more new animals to see for the next time. Here are a few pictures from our day...enjoy!
She had a wonderful time and we can't wait to go back!!

I can't believe I have written 200 posts on this blog. It's been an adventure and I'm thrilled to have 2 little kiddos to be writing about in addition to David & I.
Anyway, here are a few photos from Timothy's first 3 weeks, he such a photogenic little guy!

Timothy's Birth
The day Timothy arrived was wonderful. I was a anxious and terribly nervous about the IV and the Spinal, but I made it through and hearing Tim cry for the first time was amazing.
It was strange going in for scheduled c-section over an emergency one, I had no idea the operating table was SO small and how many people were actually in the room. Plus, since everything was so much slower, I got to "experience" Tim's birth more than Grace's which was amazing. When she pulled Tim out and Dr Hudson said he could call it, David said "It's a Boy!" with such gusto...he was so thrilled it was a boy. I was too, we were so excited that Grace was going to have a little brother.
When I held him for the first time, I was overwhelmed with joy, happiness and peace. He was such a stocky little guy and he was a natural nurser...my arms felt full having him in my embrace. It felt so right. Here are a few photos from our first few days together.
I'm catching up on my blogging and will have more photos soon!!

I'm back! - with Family Portraits
So, since Tim arrived I have simply not taken the time to even download the pictures we've taken off the cameras. Life with 2 kids has been wonderful, but busy for sure. Just keeping up with the countless loads of laundry, trying to get Grace to the playground and making time to just enjoy both of them has left little time for blogging. We are finally settling into a routine and Tim is consistently sleeping around a 5ish hour stretch each night so I'm feeling more normal.
Anyway, yesterday we had Grace's 2 year, Tim's 3 month, and our first family portraits taken by our favorite photographer - Key at Picture People Perimeter. Everyone wanted to see them so up they go! I even got all the pictures downloaded off the camera, so I'll try to get caught up in the next few weeks...no promises though. :) Family if you want any of these, let me know which numbers and which sizes. I'm going to try to place my order next weekend. Enjoy!
Look for more pictures from Tim's first 3 months soon!
